Hi! It’s been a while.
I thought hard and long about posting my thoughts on here. I initially wanted this space to be for anything crafts and DIY related in the hope that regularly posting would encourage me to do crafts regularly and destress in the process.
I started this blog in 2015 — I was newly married, without a kid, and with lesser work-related responsibilities–pretty much with several hours to spare. A few years, a kid, and a bigger workload after, I’ve been struggling to find the time, space, and energy to craft anymore. I always plan on making time for it but nothing ever pushes through. Projects became mere ideas and crafting on Saturday mornings just became a daydream.
I still think about moments where I get to play again and put my crafting supplies to work. But right now, I’m just going to go with this season in my life. I will not stress myself to start a project or post on here because that’s completely the opposite of why I took on crafting as a hobby.
I’m still hopeful for a few hours to spare when I can craft again. Maybe I’ll post something totally unrelated out of the blue– who knows? I’ll figure out that work-life balance for now (do share tips if you have! I’d appreciate it).
If you stumbled upon this blog because you were searching for how to identify the right replacement blade for your We R Memory Keepers trimmer (wink-wink), thank you for checking out this little corner. I hope you’ll visit again some time because I’m not going away, yet 🙂
Anyway, what energy I have for DIY and paper crafts, I channeled into digital design because it’s more convenient for me lately. Here’s a bit for you to download and print:
See you soon!
