I’m not quite over embossing and flourish yet so I made another project with those same elements. This time I made a new home for my brushes.
MATERIALS:
cylindrical organizer aluminum tape embossing machine
spray paint (gold) ribbon
I found this cylindrical organizer at home which used to be a special packaging for underwear (yes, underwear) and I’ve been using it as a penholder since.
It was a choice between covering the darn thing or brandishing my underwear brand for all our house guests to see. Luckily, I did not wake up lazy today so I chose the discreet route and decided to cover it. For the flourish, I used an aluminum tape I got from the hardware store and used my musical flourish embossing folder for the design. It’s the same embossing folder and machine I used in the Embossed Kraft Album Cover project I also posted here.
Stick the aluminum tape around the cylinder like so then spray paint with gold.
You can add a ribbon to cover the edge of the aluminum tape. Done! I’m thinking of doing this same process on vases as well.
